Set across a 6,000-hectare private reserve southeast of Windhoek, Gmundner Lodge offers a rich variety of experiences that make the most of its wild Namibian setting. Guests can join game-viewing drives and safaris to spot the region’s wildlife, set out on guided nature walks and experiences, and end the day with stargazing under some of the clearest night skies in the world.
Beyond the reserve, the lodge offers scenic helicopter flights and its own private air service, opening up Namibia’s dramatic landscapes from above. Back at the lodge, relaxed hours can be spent at the infinity pool or around the boma fire, where evenings unfold beneath a canopy of stars.
The dry season from around May to October is generally the best time for game viewing, although Gmundner Lodge is open year-round.
